Alumni Assistant SDP - Mechanical Skills Instructor Assistant:
Dates: June 26th to August 20th.
Potential Site Assignments: Everett, Renton, Auburn
Shifts: 8 hours with 30 min lunch, 6AM to 2:30PM, Monday to Friday
Wages: Students will be paid minimum wage for the city of their assigned site. An additional $1/hr will be paid to students participating in an SDP for their second Summer.
What to Expect:
>These Alumni will spend their time supporting the Foundational Training Instructors and Workforce Readiness Center Instructors. They will help prepare training activities, serve as floor coaches during training and perform assigned tasks to support the instructors and the Training Center. They will also support major Summer Events.
>These Alumni will be assigned to either Everett, Renton or Auburn - and with some exceptions, will report to their assigned training facility each day.
>Alumni should have their own transportation because transportation will not always be provided between sites.
>There will be some virtual work days throughout the program.
Candidate Pre-requisites:
> Be aged 18+ on June 26th, 2026
> Have previously participated in the Core Plus Aerospace High School Manufacturing SDP
Alumni Assistant SDP - Safety Focal (Tentative):
Please note that this program is tentative and will be confirmed by January 1, 2026. If we elect not to proceed with the program we will contact you and discuss if any other programs are a good fit for your application.

>These Alumni will spend their time learning about safety in a manufacturing environment and coordinating activities that support safety processes for the Student Development Program. They will help prepare safety training activities, lead safety stand ups, meet and job shadow with some members of Boeing's safety related teams, and support safety related initiatives. They will also support major Summer Events.
>These Alumni will be assigned to either Everett, Renton or Auburn - and with some exceptions, will report to their assigned training facility each day.

Alumni Assistant SDP - Program Coordination Assistant:
Dates: June 26th to August 20th
Potential Site Assignments: Everett, Renton, Auburn
Shifts: 8 hours with 30 min lunch, 6AM to 2:30PM, Monday to Friday

>These Alumni will support the Workforce Development Team with various communication, tracking, analysis, documentation and event coordination tasks. These Alumni will not participate in hands-on mechanical skills training. This is an opportunity to develop communication, documentation and other business skills and experience. They will also support major Summer Events.
>These Alumni will primarily be based out of the Renton 10-18 building, but will spend a significant amount of time at the Everett, Renton and Auburn Boeing sites as well.
>These Alumni must have their own transportation because transportation will not always be provided between sites.
>There will be some virtual work days throughout the program. Candidate Pre-requisites:

Toolmaker SDP:
Dates: July 7th to August 20th.
Selected participants must be in the Puget Sound to collect their badge at some time during the week before July 7th - no later than 5:30AM on July 6th.
Potential Site Assignments: Everett, Renton, Auburn
Shifts: 8 hours with 30 min lunch, Start time varies by shop - either 5AM or 5:30AM, Monday to Friday
Wages: Students will be paid $2 above minimum wage for the city of their assigned site. An additional $1/hr will be paid to students participating in an SDP for their second Summer.
What to Expect:
>Students will create a series of metal jigs and fixtures using precision band saws, drill motors, precision measurement tools, sanding die grinders, fabrication hand tools and a range of machine tools.
>This is a great program and career pathway for someone interested in problem solving, enjoys working to a high level of detail and wants to do something different every day. This program is a good fit for students from high school or community and technical college precision machining, welding, advanced manufacturing, drafting or other related programs.

> Be aged 18+ on June 23rd, 2026
> Have appropriate skills and experience to be successful in the program
