ASSEMBLY - High School Manufacturing Student Development Program (Age 17+)
Dates: June 13 to July 24 Selected participants must report to the Boeing South Carolina site in North Charleston on June 12th to collect their badge and attend an Orientation briefing
Shifts: 8 hours with 30 min lunch, 6AM to 2:30PM
Wages: Students will be paid $17.50/hr. Returning students will be paid an additional $1/hr
What to Expect: Students will learn mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, precision measurement, Lean manufacturing and other critical advanced manufacturing skills. Activities will include hands-on projects, job site exposure, tours and resume and interview workshops.
This program is a good fit for rising high school Seniors and recent graduates with experience using tools in a shop class or shop club environment and an interest in pursuing manufacturing careers.
This program is typically NOT a good fit for students primarily interested in learning about Engineering or design processes. This is a hands-on training experience that will not include exposure to Engineers.
Candidate Pre-requisites:
> Be aged 17+ on June 13th, 2025
> Have completed at least Junior year of High School on June 13th, 2025
> Have participated in a shop class style course or club where you were exposed to tools and safety practices before June 13th, 2025
PAINT - High School Manufacturing Student Development Program (Age 17+)

This program is a good fit for rising high school Seniors and recent graduates with experience using paint guns in a shop class environment and an interest in pursuing industrial paint as a manufacturing career.
This program is typically NOT a good fit for students primarily interested in learning about Engineering or design processes. This is a hands-on training experience that will not include exposure to Engineers.
